Default rear engine s-10

this is different.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1000&viewitem=

After five years of scrimping and saveing, We finally got this cooool projsct on the road. It's a 1992 chevy S10 pick up with the back half cut off and a 1971 eldorado front clip has been welded in it's place. the complete suspension, axles, brakes, motor and tranny. now this truck has four wheel independent suspension, and four wheel disc brakes. it is about 90 percent complete, but, it is licensed, insured and drivable right now;;; Just needs the finnishing touches, like paint, and extra gauges, maybe rear fenders if you want; ( rear dually fenders ). almost all of this trucks modifications are custom made or found, very little store bought stuff,. the rear is fitted with 12000 pound air bags, and the rear tires are 15's by 10 inch wide drag radials on custom ordered crager wheels for the special offset, the front tires are typical 14" automotive tires on 40 year old torque thrust wheels. there is a 16 gallon fuel cell in front under the hood. ther is vacumn to the booster for the brakes and the heater is connected. a couple more things left to do is change the steering box to a manual and design the exhaust to your taste, it's just scabbed on for now to make it a driver. the motor has an edelbrock performer carb and HEI. GM one wire chrome alternator. 400 pounds have been added to the front for ballast, to compress the springs. the cooling system works wonderful, absolutly no cooling issues. It could have been done different, better or more expensive. but we did it the old fashion way, like broke hotrodders. it's a very comfortable ride and very quiet in the cab. and of course, what would a cad 500 do in a 2800 pound car;;;; Just because the reserve is'nt met, dose'nt mean we wont sell it;

I did that in 1984 to a 1982 model, used a 70 Toronado/455 set up. Didn't take 5 years though, started one morning, was driving it that afternoon...
