SBC stud girdle?????

Default SBC stud girdle?????

Gotta let my machine shop know 2marro if i want them to put a stud girdle on my shortblock, Im wondering if i can run one with a stock style oil pan or do i have to have a bigger pan???? Also if i have to run a bigger pan, will i need to cut anything to make it fit?

A stud girdle is a good idea if you are going to spin the hell out of it. I only have experience with the cat products stud girdles I have ran them on 350, 383, 400. On their girdles I had to clearance them to clear the pan but a stock pan will fit with some work.

Thanks man, i have a square bottom pan, im thinking bout just trying to run it.
