A friend of mine gave me this grille today and it just doesnt wont to work, will it just not fit or am i doin something wrong??? My truck is an 1985 model by the way.

Because its a 93 grill.
You need a 93 core support..

A company used to make a bracket to move the head lights but...
It was a cheap fix.. The core supports are readily available and not much money..
Worth the upgrade IMO

I put one on my '86. All I did was clearance the back side above the headlight a little. It left a slightly larger gap under the headlight but, was hardly noticeable.

hey nick mine is a 88 and ive got a 93 grill on it...see how the gap is under the headlight..

Yeah i got mine close to fitting but i seen the gap but on yours its not really noticeable on mine it looked huge, and how do you get you corner lights to stay in with that grille? I may end up just puttin my other back on.
