I'm tossing the 355 I have for now a 377 build. I don't want it to scream all that much hence my ride is set up for 1/8 mile (th350 with 4.56's) I have a team g intake a 750 dp holley goin on it. It has a nice forged steel crank and eagle rods with flat top kb's yeilding 11.1 c/r with 64cc heads. Ive got a set of 906 vortecs with comp cams roller rockers Im steering away from. Like to get a set of sportsman 2's for it. But cam ideas is what Im after. Like to hear some combos out there or a name to where I can discuss my build....

Around 630 on a solid roller and the sportsman 2's would be good if strip only, they like rpm's, so small cams are a killer for them. They need to breathe. I ran 570's on a 275 shot with my last one...

well they have flat top pistons with 2 releifs, saying 11.1 compression. How much lift will I getaway with, of course Im going to check it. Be neat to buzz it 7500+ rpms. I was thinking of a solid flat tappet with 57-.590 lift. I still would like to drive it on the street some.

Hard to guess how much you can get away with. Too many variables, you SHOULD be fine with that lift, in most instances...
