Newbee from Kinston,North Carolina

Just found this site from YB and figured I'd check out some other cool trucks.

I bought my truck(1980 Chevy Luv) from my Father-in-law almost 2 years ago.
He built it from scratch and raced it from 1991-1995 then it sat on jack stands in the shop till I bought it in Nov. of 2007.

I work for the Dept. of Ag and my office is 1/4 mile from Kinston's track:laughoutloud:

I run there pretty regular since I'm so close,but also hit Coastal Plains and New Bern.
Kinston hooks pretty good on race day,but test and tune during the summer is a waste of time.

I mostly bracket race and like visiting other tracks as much as possible.
Where do you run?

I work for Lenoir Soil & Water Conservation District.
We are State,County and Federal(NRCS) all in one assisting the farmers.

I'm about 1.5hrs from Dunn-Benson but haven't been there yet.
I'm getting ready to snatch my motor and have my heads worked and a custom cam done for it.
Running mid 5.90's now but want to be in the .70's.
