Just got my fuel pump back from bg. The 220 with the external bypass on the pump has the same parts as the 400 except for the motor and housing. It flowed 120 when they got it free flowing. Now it flows 380 free flowing and 235 at 15psi. It was actually worse than I thought before they rebuilt it. Also I front mounted it to be sure it wouldn't starve for fuel.

Looks good. After seeing yours I wish I had mounted my pumps up frt. I am running a BG400 -2 for the motor and a BG280 for spray. I've had BG400s on all my race cars and love em.

Ok nice Idea but one thing will be an issue, the pump you have is 10X too much for the job you need done, use that pump to feed the engine, you will need the volume to overcome g forces if your vehicle hooks well enough.
For the nitrous enrichment you will only need a holley red pump or blue to feed the nitrous fuel system, since your pump will not have to overcome g forces being mounted up front.
The 220 will pump one gallon in 20 seconds or less, and having only one gallon cell you may experience issues if you run it half capacity.
Not knowing if you have a 800ci 2000HP engine or a 283 350HP engine I am just pointing out sometimes too big is just that, too much.
I am one for running more fuel delivery than you actually need, I actually run BG pumps and I love the idea of a front mounted system I was going to mount one up there, but I ran out of room, and the 220hr I use now works both the engine and my nitrous system so damned good I just go with the flow, If I need more I have 2 280 waiting to get used.

i think your correct unless he runs a return setup. i run a magana fuel 300 to a fuel log. off that log i have two regulaotrs. one for motor and one for nitrous. off the motor reg i run a return bleed that feeds unused fuel back to cell. i deadhead the nitrous reg becuase when i did a return setup on nitrous it would dropp to 3-4psi fuel at inital hit then rise up. now it starts at 15psi and dropss to set fuel. also picked .05 this way.i do agree that a bg400 is very big but i think with the proper return setup this pump will work flawless on motor or nitrous. i would rather feed a hungry engine then starve it

Motor makes around 850-900 and nitrous will be around 700. And it 60's in the teens so I need some volume.

Well pump is in my hands finally. Wow did they upgrade it. It is now a belt drive pump with a electric motor. It flowed 264 gpm at 30 psi. May plumb nitrous and fuel in same pump now. I will post pics this weekemd. Wow it's a monster now. Anyone need fuel. I can pump it to you from here.

220 pump wouldn't feed my motor when it was new. And it mounted behind cell -12 inlet -10 to regulator and 2 port regulator with -6 feeding carb. Even tried 4 port regulator. I had to get bigger pump to feed motor. And if you use the pump to hp the 220 is what I need to feed 700 shot of spray.

I've used a single BG400 to feed a 632 w/ 3guns on it with no problems. I love BG products.

I hope you have good luck with th BG , I never did. I have had 3 different pumps by them and they never lasted more that 4 races. I then ran a holley dominator 250 and that lasted 3/4 of a season. I the current time I am running a areomotive 350 gph pump and have been running it for over a season and it is still running strong. But with my set up I have to have that much flow or I am screwed! I am currently using just over 2 gal of fuel every pass.
