Well back when i was working i ordered a powder coating kit and bout the same time my parents bought a new oven so i got a freebie oven:rock:, and i never got to use it and even forgot i had it til this week, so im goin to try to get my uncle to come out and wire up a 220 plug for the oven and try this stuff out.

My brother got one, but has been too lazy to try it out... I'm hoping to be the first one to try it out and powder coat some of my stuff :10:

Friend of mine has the eastwood setup and I scored him a free oven to use. Haven't wired his garage for the 220 yet but we are itching to use it as well

Hey if you goin to powder coat, you need a sand blaster too, and my friends dad told me bout these he loves his for small stuff and you cant beat the price. Went ahead and ordered me one too.

Well i got sick of waiting for my sandblaster and got bored today so i tried out the powder coating on the heat shield that came with my starter, and for my first part and the fact that i dont have all the stuff your supposed to have to do it with, i think it came out alright. Only trouble i had it on one part of it the powder just wouldnt stick, think it may have been a spot i touched after i cleaned it.

I had a little to much air pressure for it so it wasnt as thick as i wanted, the air kept want to blow the powder off the part, but its really cool to see what it looks like with the powder on it rite outta tha gun, and then how slick it looks and feels outta tha oven.
