What do you reccommend? Lowered 3 in the front, 4 in the back. Back end is pretty smooth, front kinda harsh. Was looking at Toxic Drop shocks....don't want to break the bank tho.

Street/ strip? Street? Or strip? I reccomended drop spindles then 1" spring to get to the 3" drop. Shocks depend on application

She's lowered in the front springs only/4 inch tapered blocks in the back. Ride is just needing to be a bit smoother up front. Toxic drop has pretty good prices but theres a few negatives that are keeping me wondering. Mechanics are not a big deal for me, I'm just on a tight budget like most of us.

I had some high dollar shocks on my ford and a buddies blazer. He didn't like how it rode so he got the bell tech nitro drop shocks. I liked how it rode so well my ford has them all the way around now. Shocks seem to be one area that you get what you pay for in most cases. Problem with mine was they were the edelbrock shocks and the valving was too soft. His had cheap autozone shocks that were bottoming out. But the belltechs seem to ride really well.

How far is your bump stop crom the frame? I had to modify mine on the race truck. Not sure how much it was lowered. The bump stop clearance can be a issue if it's too close also.

Belltech drop shocks are awesome. They take into consideration of the drop. It will smooth your truck out some but not all the way. Your spring rate most likely has changed with that much of a lowering spring. That is part of the ride. But I agree with jaime. Belltechs are well worth it. I understand being on a budget. BUT, why cheap out at first and still end up having to buy a better shock because what you get isn't enough of a fix. Slowly save up imo. I had 3/3 drop on my 90 blazer with stock shocks. It stunk. Went to bilsteins and it improved. Ended up doing belltechs and improved a ton. But still not perfect. Hindsight I would have done spindles and less of a drop in the spring like jaime said.

I used Deutch Tech (sp?) and they worked awesome on the front of my truck...just another brand to check out I don't remember them being too expensive...

Tell you what, I'll do one better; I'll check when I get home and if I still have them (I just went coilover)...if I still got em' I can hook you up for cheap :)
