Sittin the motor in for the first time, still has heater box,all the wiring,and inner fenders.(later removed)

When i started taking heater box off and the proform on it in pic was later sold and replaced with a holley.

After problems with rocker studs had to be pulled back apart and then i started on cover the holes and gettin rid of any uneeded wires, also inner fenders removed and battery and trans cooler moved to bed.

Also changed was the stock gear to a 3.73 then to a 4.10, coming next is c.e. 3way adj. shocks up front and maybe a little lowering and DAGGERS, and in the future will be interior work and a little spray.

There out there, mine isnt as slicks as it looks in the pics it has it dents and dings, but i picked it up for $500 with a clean title,b&m shifter,2 flowmaster,motor mounts,radiator,trans cooler, driveshaft and 700r trans, but the interior needs alot of fixing up.

Well after goin to dft8 yesterday i am in the mood to get my truck back together really bad, so you will probably be seeing some more progress on my truck soon. New heads, ignition, nitrous, daggers, and dash will be coming soon.

Just make sure if there getting ported that the valve job is done right. I had a friend who bought a set of patriot performance heads and the valve job was hoorrible.

Its got Wiseco flat tops, eagle rods, scat crank, solid lift cam. Still waiting on someone to tell me exact size on cam. Motor was just freshened up also and only has 3 races on it and its forged stuff, the guy that my bro talked to earlier used to own it and said it would be fine for nitrous.

Got it out and it looks like crap, needs alot of cleanin and repainting before i use it (damn Dirt Track) and found out the heads arent the pro actions there the pro toplines, gonna go back to shop in a little while and get the numbers off them, so i can find out what size they are.

Found out that they are no longer in buisness and RHS bought them out, still nobody can give me info from the numbers, goin to call a few more place 2mar. So far all i have found is that they are a small chamber head.

Old motors out and i got oil pump switched, motor mounts on new motor, just gottas get some new bolts,oil and filter, some gaskets, and drill valve cover for PVC valve.

Nope, pulled timing cover off and there was no numbers. I guess its goin to be a mystery for now, but i wish i knew what it was.

Put a Dial Indicator and a Degree Wheel on it and you will know everything you need..

BIG THANKS TO 421s10(AVERY),WIKD(JOHN), and my Dad for the help you guys are awesome. Almost go it done today, but the angle that the new heads put spark plugs at wouldnt clear the shorty headers so im goin to try short plugs and if that doesnt work it will be another month or 2 before i can save up for fenderwell headers to finish it.

:rock:Truck is alive again, drove it a little but had the timing turned down so the starter would work and still got lots of tuning to do, plus the new intake to put on, but feels like it goin to run pretty good. Also valve covers are leaking like a mofo, but hey theres always goin to be a leak somewhere at first so i cant complain. VIDEO COMING UP. Again big thanks to AVERY AND JOHN for there help the other day, if it wanst for them it would probably still be sittin without a motor in it.
