I changed from a th350 to a glide with my old motor...
Changed nothing else...
Same gears, tires, torque converter, everything... (glide has turbo input shaft)
Changed it during the week and back out the next weekend...
I picked up .17 first pass... (same stage and shift rpm as turbo)
Altered my shift points and launch and ended up with a .31 gain total...
Then after a gear change and some suspension tuning I picked up another 2 tenths...

Pretty much...

what gear did you have and what gear did you go to if you dontmind me askin?

Had 5.43, went down to 4.88...
I actually changed the gear to go run a Pinks Allout (1/4 mile)...
Ended up being faster in the 1/8 with the 1/4 gear... ?
I'm now back to the 5.43 with my new motor... (bigger)

I've always ran a glide, durable and consistant. You can make a th350 very durable but pull some money outta your pockets

I went from a 350 to a glide but also changed motors at same time as far as bracket racing goes I love a glide, dont ever care to go back its nice to shift only once

You could also look into a griner 1 + 2

Have any of you driven a glide on the street? I'm planning to throw a glide in my truck. It's a nitrous combo thats mostly gonna race on an unprepped surface, so I figured the glide would allow me to leave good. It'll probably see at the most 5 miles of driving(small town).
