Hi all, heres a few pics from this weeks work.

http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv135/sg67nova/s10002-1.jpg

Built pedestal for shifter, built bracket for fire bottle cable.

http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv135/sg67nova/s10003-1.jpg

Mounted fire bottle, still need to plumb.

http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv135/sg67nova/s10005-1.jpg

Finally finished electrical panel and installed it. made all battery cables and installed.

http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv135/sg67nova/s10007-1.jpg

Finally got my adapter plates milled so I can test fit headers. Now that I know they fit I can built motor plate brackets.

I will have pics next week of my new driveshaft. We decided to build a 2pc shaft due to the length. So they are basically building me a 1 ton shaft with 1350 joints and a urathan carrier bearing.

More updates later, good night!

Sorry for the dalayed response. Believe it or not I drew out diagrams for the overhead, LH and RH switch panels and my gauges. I then listed everything that needed to go through a fuse and relay. I listed out all the inputs and outputs for the terminal sprips on my electrical panel. And I wired the panel without a diagram, I just made lists of wire locations in each of the 4 terminal strips, wire color and what it goes to. I was then able to completely bench test the panel before installing it in the truck. Every ckt in the truck is carried by a relay. And the majority of the wiring and components on the panel are nitrous related so not running nitrous would greatly simplify things.
I am a 20yr Chevy tech and although I do about anything I prefer the electrical work. I have gotten alot of racecar wiring experience on my own cars and have started doing it for other racers as well. When your ready to do your rewire I will be happy to help any way I can.
The relay board on my panel is a really slick setup and is actually comparable in cost to buying good relays, locking bases and terminals.

Have a great day!

Heres an update from the last couple weeks.

I bought a griffin 16x31 rad in hopes I could tuck it under the core support and it worked great. The intake is about even with the top of the rad so I went with an expansion tank type water outlet. I was quite pleased with the way the rad fit. i wanted it forward due to a future alternator and vac pump. Also mounted trans cooler.

Also installed steering wheel, line loc and trans brake switches and quick connect.

Heres pics of my 2-pc driveshaft. 3 inch steel, solid 1350 joints.

I also disassembled my fuel cell to add larger outlets, add a return and larger vent.

Thanks for looking.
