Your fuel regulator.

11-01-2011, 02:03 AM
o the el cheapo just got the bg with the carb base mount
wont pass tech with it mounted on the firewall is what he is trying to tell you... if you race at a track that is a stickler for tech they will raise cain... not to mention the close proximity the fuel line will be in regards to the flexplate/flywheel...
ffemt6488
11-01-2011, 11:22 AM
so am i better off running it through the frame and mounting it on the core suport
that would be a better place to mount it yes... will pass tech and if the trans comes apart better chance of it not taking that fuel line with it...

so am i better off running it through the frame and mounting it on the core suport
Thats what I did one mounted on the front of the engine and one off the core support pass tech with flying colors.

12-19-2011, 10:20 PM
What size are the tubes?
That should be the deciding factor if you are looking for the most bang for your buck..

ffemt6488
12-19-2011, 11:13 PM
lol not to sure yet would like to just do the 1-7/8 fenderwells from headman or i could just build a set of 2in myself the tig is fixed now so just need someone to just tell me whats better i have an idea whats better just needs to come from someone whos running a s10
Diabolical
12-19-2011, 11:34 PM
2" are big.. And you will loose some low end torque.
Go for the 1-7/8"
I had 2" and went back to 1-7/8" if that means anything..
ffemt6488
12-19-2011, 11:50 PM
