I have used about everything out there including the POR15 and this paint is alot easier to work with, It is just a strong, and comes in 20 colors....................... And yes the pics are AFTER the paint has dried already !!!!

I got it at the local tractor supply place. It is called Valspar Tractor and Implement paint and is absolutely beautiful even when you brush it on. The best part is that the POR is about 30.00 or so a PINT :yikes: And this stuff was 11.99 a QUART. Here is a link to the tractor supply online deal so you know what it looks like.

ALL 20 Colors.............

Allis Chalmers Orange
Equipment Yellow
Ford Blue
Ford Gray
Ford Red
Gloss Black <<<<<----------------- THIS IS THE ONE I USED FOR REFERENCE
Gloss White
International Harvester Red
International Harvester White
John Deere Green
John Deere Antique Green
John Deere Yellow
Kubota Orange
Low Gloss Black
Massey Ferguson Gray
Massey Ferguson Red
New Holland Red
New Holland Yellow
Oliver Green
Transport Yellow

I have always used the rustolium protective coating and sprayed it on. Going on 10 years now and still looks good.

I do like the choices in color you can get the valspar in. Maybe a nice john deer green frame next time.

Did you spray your frame or use a brush? I'm looking for some durable paint, to paint my cage. most likely paint the cage with a brush

I brushed it on. I would do 2 light coats it runs kinda easy.

the hands down best rust stopping chassis paint is Chassis saver made by magnet paints.

Nothing else comes close, the only place chassis saver faults is its not uv stable, so it will fade if not top coated.

The foam throw away brush works well,no bristle marks. Some parts of the cage are easy to see but hard to reach.

Is the stuff listed long lasting like por15?
