Why I've been so busy....

Well, it's not because I have been so busy wrench'n on the truck.... I've been actually remodeling my parent's bathroom by pulling out the tub/shower and building a walk-in shower for my mom who cannot step over the tub to enter the shower that they had. Sometimes I wonder why I open my mouth and say that I can do that.... but it was for my parents, so that was enough for me.

I spent the last (4) weekend over at their house doing this work. I wished that I would have taken pictures before I had started. I took these with my camera phone, so theya re not the best.

Not a bad job for an electrician...

I don't think that I could make money at this though...:cool4:

Looks very good. I believe you were able to do it because you are in a profession that has you handy with tools and you have learned by watching others. Construction jobs do help alot for the DIY!

I've always liked to build things rather than site behind a desk or something similar. The fact that my current position as a new project manager kind of sucks because I 'm now supposed sit behind a desk most of the time. In fact, I have been struggling now due to spending too much time out in the field and not tending to my new responsibilities...

Anyways, the shower was for my parents and make things easier on them, so I'm glad that they like it and they actually used it yesterday :)

Now, it's back to the truck now that it's 115* outside :yikes:
