what kind of oil pan to use i have a 7 qt. on it now but the motor is hitting the fire wall and the oil pan hits the cross mimber .then when i did get it down pass the fire wall the motor mounts dosent line up ........what to do..what to do....i have no more hire to pull out im balled lol

can you post some pics and you can notch the crossmember

You can notch the crossmember like I did on mine. http://www.s10racer.com/board/showthread.php?t=230

It's not that hard if you have the tools. I also cut the firewall back so that it will be easier to drop the tranny should I need too...

mine is dedicated to the strip and i use a stock 5 quart pan and it clears the crossmember and the firewal can be taken care of w/ a BFH....

Milodon sells a "claimer" pan. It's the same deminsions as a stock pan but, has a windage tray in it. You can usually find it in the circle track section of Jegs, and Summit.

thanks for the info. im going to notch the cross member and cut the fire wall like azo3sonoma that looked preaty good
