5.3L out of 2004 tahoe, shortie headers other then thats all stock
6-speed out of 2002 camaro
8.8" with 3.73's
295/65/15 MT Streets

Nothing special, just kind of pondering

assuming it still has 295hp of the stock engine, weighs 3200 with driver, it should run a 13.5-13.8 1/4 mile...

What if I go cam and carb... Think that will be a difference?

seven - its not there yet.. i got the 5.3 but thats about it.
Just wanting to dip into the high 11's and kinda curious how much its gonna take to get there.

I would think the carb and a decent cam would get ya pretty close to the 11's

I've been fighting myself lately with going carb or FI. I love the fact of having my cruise control and gas milage but I LOVE how clean the carb setup looks and I know it makes more horses but at what mpg loss.

to get to 11.xx in full street dress, you'll need better heads in addition to converter can carb and gears......
