I just figured out.. I worked 118 hours this week.
But, One more week of 16 to 18 hour days and I will have about 3 months off..
I may have to take a day off for this Hurricane coming this week.
We will see. I cant wait to get back to the track and build stuff..

we haven't been to the track in about 4 weeks and I'm starting to get the shivers from withdrawals. had to take a weekend to run to Mobile,AL for a funeral (mother -in-law), the next weekend ran to Pittsburgh to meet up with Xten and family. oh and drop off my sons stuff at Pitt..lol. the following weekend we had a flat tire in the front runner and then while fixing a leak in the hydroboost with a new seal kit a part broke. So this weekend was out too due to waiting for a new hydroboost unit. hopefully this coming weekend we can get a few passes in and our luck returns to the good side..

I went yesterday. Got there at 4pm and went .002 red in second round at 1230 am. It is hard to get in the groove when it takes hours between rounds.

I hope you have fun too!
Yes I have been racing, as a matter of fact I just had to do a complete rebuild after I had a oil galley plug pop out of the front of my block and lost oil pressure on the even side of the block. which caused a spun rod bearing on #6 and cyl 2&4 to scar the walls. So I decided to go all out on the block and heads!
the bottom end: new crank, #6 rod, bearings, rings and sleaved #2&4, new oil pan and larger turbo drain tubes.
heads: finally! got screw in studs and guide plates, ss valves, bigger springs and port and polished !
ext motor parts: 2 hx35 turbos, 3" down pipes cut out the side of front fenders and larger evac tubes.
now i got this all done in 2 weeks in time for the wedding. the first pass I blew a rubber boost hose at the 1000' and ran a 10.79. missed the second run waiting for hose. third run had issues of hitting rev limiter and det at the 1000' again and ran a 10.36. first round elim after the wedding I dialed a 10.31 but blew the tires off at the start and ran a 10.88 with the same problem at the 1000' again. which is ok that I lost cause it was time to party! didn't leave the track till 2am.
now I have the det problem solved and turned up the limiter so Fri might be the day I finally hit the 9's! the reason I say that is all my 1/8 times and speeds show I should be running mid 9's!
I hope you have fun too!
