easiest thing to do is to cut one full round off those springs
Or buy new springs with the drop you want.
One round may drop it 1.5 to 2 inches

GROUND Force 3" lowering springs. Around $40-50 I believe. Thats what I had. But was all iron motor, with no inner fenders , no a/c, no heater box etc etc

I cut 1.5 out of mine, still was not satty with it, then I took a lil propane torch and heated the springs lil bit and brought it down lil more. Note when I torched it, I took the shocks out of it and made a jig from 2x4 so both sides had equel heights.

I tried cutting one ring off mine and just hated the way it drove down the street around the block for a test drive. (Yeah open headers neighbors by my shop love me, LOL) I'm installing a QA1 GM conversion front coilovers on mine tonight. They look nasty as hell and you can adjust the height to what ever you want and never knock the ball joints off.

Well I got one of my coilovers installed tonight but trust me don't listen to the instructions, It says to turn the coilovers all the way down and install the spring. Well I did it their way and it took me an hour of twisting and tugging on the adjustment ring and some busted knuckles to get it to the correct position. I'm going to install the other one in position and use a jack to compress the spring. Just a FYI

I had cut down springs on my strip truck to start with but was not to happy. I did some research on the internet and found that GM g body springs are the same fit but smaller wire diamiter and different spring rate. They sat a little tall so i sawed off about 3/4 of a coil and put 2 inch dropped spindles. Now the look is good and the spring rebound is great with 90/10 shocks. ( I used the smallest wire dia. spring)

I have QA1 coil overs the nice thing is that they have an adjustable ride height. The only thing is there a pain to adjust. Also heard that the stock v6 springs are a good way to go.
