I know, I know, the extended cab is nice, maybe even nicer, but this is going to be a better race truck, there is a bunch of reasons why i am going this route,

I paid 350 for it, but it is stripped, fortunately, I have all the parts needed. The black truck is ready for a paint, so why not? The shorter truck will be substationally lighter, PLUS! I had just built a garage, and I wanted a project, was going to look for a nova or chevelle to be show car nice, well by the time i bought one of them, I could have this put back together. I will be taking it down to the frame, painting the underside of the cab etc. The wheel base on the black truck is 122 :o the ext cab are actually longer than the long box trucks, and longer than a fullsize short box chevy, Makes my driveshaft to long and i am always scared of it as i go down the track! The hard part will be taking the black one apart :cry:
