Which tire will yield the best results without needing a wizard to tune the suspension on a blazer? I don't know how much It weighs but does that matter.....

We run drag radials. Have been numerous 1.5 60ft times on them. We do not have much for suspension so it has proved to work so far. Looking to upgrade to more "hooking" suspension.

Been running MT 295/65/15 DR the past 3 seasons. Just gotta monitor the tire pressure. Best 60 to date is a 1.48. And I don't have the extra weight in the ass end blazer's have.

IMHO, there is no comparison for street driving. The radial is far superior for street manors. Especially if you have a lot of twisty and rutted out roads like we do. Bias ply tires tend to get squirley on roads with ruts and "S" bends. I run 275 50 15 DR's and although they are on their 4th season and the sidewalls are shot, they've done a helluva job at the track too.

Hu?
You can run a traction device with any tire.

I was asking if a drag radial would hook without caltracs or something similar

In our rides (Blazers and Trucks) your going to need some sort of traction devise no matter what tire you run :)
