Hey Guys..if any of you arent too far from Englishtown n.j raceway park this sun july 24 is old time drags show and go. my dad and i are trailering both the 68 Firebird and the 62 Tempest to go and race. a friend of mine and his dad are coming also with there 72 chevelle and 55 belair. Tim (383s10) might come and hangout with me. if you arent too far you should come hangout and see some cool old cars or if you have 1 bring it on!!!

Well we went yesterday, due to my leg hurting so bad i only used my open trailer and brought the tempest. couldnt deal with dragging the 2 cars. and we only entered the tempest into the car show, told dad cant take chances in breaking the car when we are being paid entry fee,1 day room, and 1 full tank of gas in the tow rig to bring the tempest to norwalk ohio for a large pontiac show and 50th anniversary of the 61-63 tempest.
so yesterday he won 2nd place in his class (replica nostalgia race car) and best 5 of entire car show.

i need to fix what i wrote above, 1 of the trophies was not for best 5 it was best 10 cars of entire show......unfortunatelly i do not have pics, he was tooooo damn hot, im sun burned, i was wearing a tank top and i had to take my ankle cast off due to the heat feeling like it was melting it on my leg, therefore i was unable to walk around. only camera i had was on my droid phone and dad is not capable of working it. i do have 1 pic of him holding his trophies. 1 trophy is yes a $2.00 trophy anyone can buy at a trophy store, but the other which was for best 10 cars of show is cut from billet aluminum and engraved. all 10 winners have the same. This is a very nice piece. all i have is a pic of my dad holding his trophies in front of his car before they had the 10 best take a slow ride down the track being led by Bobby Ida himself in his 34 coupe custom rod.
