power steering delete..

Hey guys
i want to clean up my engine bay and like the look of power steering delete.
am i going to F- up if i just remove belt and pump and run ? or am i good to go ? is there anything i need to know on removing this ? thanks

need to loop power steering lines together.

yes, at the steering box just loop one over to the other side and connect.
kinda hard to turn sitting still but not too bad when driving

Im making a manual box from a swap meet work, I just had to find a rag joint to work.

I've got a nice tight Vega Manual box with pitman arm for sale, bolts right in place of the stock S10 box, and I'll throw in the splined u-joint and piece of shaft that fits it. This box is like less than half the weight of the P/S gearbox. :cool4:

do i need the manual box to make work ? or can i just loop hoses together and im good ? sorry little confused...

You can loop the hoses together on a power box, but it won't work as well as a manual box. If you want to see how it will drive, just take you belt off and try it out. The Vega box is smaller and lighter than an S10 manual box, but muuch lighter than a power box, and bolts right up, :cool4:
