This is a must for my truck and I'm looking for opinions on which brand is preferred over others. Loosing traction coming out of corners fast is not fun. Feels like your in park. So let me know what you guys prefer? Stock rear-end 3.42 gears, 1999 s10.

LSD = Limited Slip Differential
Auburn and Eaton are pretty good.

but does anyone favor over the other... ive read hundreds of articles about both and they both seem to come out equal.. is that possible? lol I'm looking at an Eaton currently so i guess i'll have first hand experience hopefully soon.

It all depends on which one you want. I know guys who have tried both and they both are equal. Its like choosing a paint color in my opinion. I believe EATON has an upgrade to make it an electric LOCKER. So you get the Lsd all the time and flip of a switch it makes it a locker for track use.
Truetrac is what alot of guys run here on there street/strip vehicles.

Eaton, not Auburn. Eaton is rebuildable, Auburn wants it sent back...or just buy a new one.

thats a good point right there! i'd hate to have the truck down for an extended period of time just to send it back.
