This is about my buddies camaro again......
The tach goes nuts at 5000, the car won't pull rpms much past that, and it starts to miss around that rpm. My question is do you think the coil might be too weak or just bad and is there a good way to check?
It's a MSD Blaster SS coil. And it's been on the car for a quite a while.
p.s. I've checked and double checked timing, adjusted the valves, and tuned the carb time and time again with no change.

Its pretty hard to put a meter on the coil output side but,
As voltage goes up your ground becomes even more important..
Check all your ground wires..

Try this test at night, Rev it up with no lights on and see if anything is arching.

Right on! Also when i'm cruising down the hyway and holding rpm it has a random miss, real light, can't feel it but can hear it in the exhaust?
