Me, Kristen (wife) , Abigail (3 year old daughter) and my dad met up at a house this evening with our realtor.

We checked out a house that is a 3 bedroom 2 full bath 1500 sqft home with a 2 car ATTACHED garage. Home is literally 2 minutes around the corner. It is in the neighborhood right before my parents.

House has a MASSIVELY huge living room with a mini wet bar :10: Cobblestone fire place. Very nice. Has some "exposed beams" which I personally think is awesome.

Dining room is a decent size and is bigger than what we have. Kitchen is an ok size. Nothing elaborate, but it will get it done.

Master bedroom, OH MY GOD. This has to be the first house me and my wife have gone in and not looked at each other wondering if our furniture would fit in it. his and her closets as well. Or is that her's and her's?

The 2 separate bedrooms are a nice size as well. Or daughter would have more than enough room for all her stuff.

The garage. The 2 car garage is pretty spacious and the floor is already epozied :antlers:. Breaker panel is out there so I know I can add a 220 outlet and build a nice workbench in the garage as well.

House also has a screened in porch which I like. Me being a smoker, (legal kind) can sit out there while my daughter plays outside. Yard has some nice size trees for shade and right behind the house is nothing but woods.

HOPEFULLY, the seller accepts the offer and we can proceed. We really like that house and it would finally get us our own home where I can finally work on projects and don't care how long it takes.

Cross your fingers guys/gals. This year has been a good one for us even though there was a hiccup here and there.

You are a little too far for me to drive back and forth to work. Plus I would have some stipulations for items to be LEFT! :laughoutloud:

Best of luck. I really hope this one works out. It's the best home we've seen so far and has plenty of room to grow. Abby's room will be even large enough for her teenage years. You won't feel cramped. well until I move in. :)

Oh he forgot to mention the WET BAR in the living room

Good luck.
If they don't accept your first offer, you can always counter offer. Sometimes people are funny... now everybody funny. :sombrero:
Seriously, sometimes offers get stuck for a couple of grand.
Go for it...
Besides, the wet bar has to be worth a couple grand :laughoutloud:

So far it seems a good deal. 2 offers have dropped. And the other one doesn't look good. Probably because we offered more.

BUT............I am trying to deal with this other crap right now. My agent talked to the selling agent today and she says it looks really well for us. We just have alittle more paperwork to do this evening and we shall see where it goes from there.

MAD MAX. We are offering them the full amount they have the home listed for. PLUS for them to pay the closing cost. That is it. I wanted to lowball them on the house. BUT, we thought about it and was informed since there was other offers on the table to rethink if we would lowball them.

Sorry if none of that makes any sense. But my mind has been going apeshit all day.

Here is some quick pics of home in question

This picture it was taken when the tree was not in bloom. It is full of leaves right now. Can pull a truck and trailer into the backyard WITH NO problem at all. And maybe unload a vehicle off of it as well.

Big ass living room. I love the cobblestone fire place. Would like to add can lights through the living room of course.

Well, so far things look real good for us, as our realtor sent the prequalify letter to the listing agent. The other "offer" hasn't been approved yet for their moneys. SO , lets just hope I can get this house and maybe get everett to come harass me for a change. :laughoutloud:

I do know with a 2 car garage I could have my own space to build another s-10 and not care about it taking up some space. :10:

I know. BUT, every bit of space in the home is actually being used. This home has a tad bit smaller kitchen, but hell, bigger than we have now. I did take some pics yesterday but havent uploaded them yet.

Mike, wanna come up here and install some can lights for $50? :laughoutloud:

Yep, Stillllllllllllllllllllllll waiting. Shit is actually pissing me off. CITI is not responded back to the listing agent and of course I am hounding my agent. Sucks because starting saturday we are working 7 days a week 10-12 hour days. Temporary until a job (school) is done. Next week is days and after that is nights. UGH.

Anyways, I am about to say F it and just go "settle" for a new home.

Well, my wife is going to look at some more this weekend. Nicer and NEWER and not a shortsale or foreclosure. Most have larger kitchens and other ammenities that are nicer. So we shall see.

Today's update was that the negotiatior at the bank needed more paperwork. *the same paperwork that was sent to them almost a month ago. Plus, she said everything would have been done this past monday/tuesday. IT wasn't. Wednesday the negotiator said that she was working on it and everything would have been finished and an answer at the end of Wednesday. It wasn't. Yesterday no answer .

Today it was "I need all this paperwork including the buyers contract etc etc". Which how in the hell can you ALMOST be finished with something if you have nothing?
