Maybe not relocation but def. cleaning it up and smoothing it over. One the pass side. I am thinking of cutting it out and making it flush with the back of the tranny tunnel. Know what I mean? You know how the firewall is pushed back where the dist is? Cut that part beside it out flush with the back of the tunnel.
Hard to explain but does anyone see any major problems with this idea?

Only problem is the metal is so thin..
Just at the end you will need to jog back out.. You'll see what I mean if you do it..
Things get a little crazy by the hood hinge area.. even if you don't use the hinges anymore.

OK so dont cut it all out then
Guess I could heat and push a little and then make me some patch panels?

well they shoes and stuff is no problem, have to wear them anyway
I had the sbc in there so I am all to familiar on the beat a little bit, try it, pull it back some and beat the hell out of it game

Thinking a little heat may make the massaging in the known areas go a little easier? That and clean up the hack job on the first and second rounds of this little truck of mine

If you put heat on it will it melt the body seam putty?
