been looking at them for a while.. thinking of picking up the 2"plastic one...

heres their claim...

VH Super Sucker
Adds up to 47 horsepower naturally aspirated. These spacers will increase air speed from the base of the carburetor to the top of the intake valve, pulling more fuel from the carburetor. CNC machined on Haas vertical milling centers from either aluminum or high temp composite plastic (composite spacers are designed for drag racing only). The composite spacers additionally offer a thermal break from the manifold to the carburetor, keeping the carburetor air flow cooler resulting in more horsepower.

read some mixed reviews ..what are some thoughts....

I want to get one, my engine made the most hp with one on the dyno, and It wasnt mine so I would like to get one, the one he had was a 2" aluminum
I wish I had a lot more money so I could buy some of the stuff I want

a freind of min said on his 383. with brodix track 1s made 12hp with the 1 inch hvh. he said they dynoed everything from a 1/2 inch to a 2 inch hvhv along with open and 4 hole spacer and the hvh" was best on his./ he said the main thing was it was up 10-12hp at every rpm and it smoothed out his graph on dyno tremendously. this was a 630hp engine

It would be nice to see an A-B-A track test with actual ET's and MPH.
Have heard all kinds of stories both good and bad.

I don't see how it can be bad because it has the best of both worlds. Four hole design for better carb signal and open hole for better hp.

I have the HVH 2 plastic one on my 406...
They put one on it on the Dyno and it picked up and average of 10 hp through the entire rpm range (4000-7500)...
Max gain was 31 hp @ 7100...
Biggest improvement was the crispness and acceleration rate...

I have the HVH 2" alum 4 hole to a CNC open bottom. I first had it on a SBC and now the BBC. I have a 1" on my LT1 and I could feel the difference off the line. I like them!!
