Ok, so i have recently started on my truck build. Just a litle something to get involved in with my sons. I look for this truck to be a weekend toy street racing or at the track. It's an 89 dime that i have a 400 sbc ( out of an RV) with the 700R4 that came out of the truck. I have the motor and tranny in the truck but need to remove it so i can swap the frame mounts in the engine bay, I'll prob do that this weekend. I'd like to change the cam out but dont want to fool too much with the heads as i dont know much about them. but in the future i do plan to rebuild the motor into a 406 sbc ( I have already started ordering the internals just a lil bit at a time). I still get confused as to where i should start so im basically moving from the front to back with this build. here are some pictures (from a crappy blackberry), but more will follow soon. I plan to remove the bed as well i would like to rerun all the wires fuel lines to go to a fuel cell that will be mounted in the bed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. As you can see i do not have a shop so i am limited to working when the weather permits as the truck is in the back yard.
