you can use a vega steering box. there a many companies that have kits that include the steering arm youll need. i have a kit on the shelf if you need one. just send me a pm . and i can get you a price.

Stock manual S10 boxes are $30 all day long at local pull-a-parts with correct pitman arm

Take the time and put a rack in it if its a strip truck only you will be happy you did later, if not hit the pull a part.

What year trucks would have the manual box and would it bolt up to the holes I have in my frame ?

Usually it's the earlier 4cyl trucks - bolts right up

All the s10 trucks are same far as bolt holes to the frame. Difference is pitman arm. The box with 3 bolt holes is different than the box with 4 bolt holes on the top plate. Splines are different on the pitman arm. Also don't remember which one it was but one of them will fit 82 up camaro as long as you use the camaro pitman arm.
