Anybody try or think about raising front leaf spring eye? Was thinking about raising the front hanger up 2" to 3". Was wondering how much this would change the instant center? Thought it would be a decent way to lower the back of my truck more and give me more ground clearance for traction device. Would also raise the spring sliders. Any thoughts or suggestions?

There is a thread on yellow bullet talking about this. One guy said you could swap sides and re-mount the factory spring hangers - it IS a "better" way to lower than springs, but like DandD says there are PLENTY of fast trucks around lowered with blocks or de-arched leaves.
I've really been thinking about it with the jimmy because the frame hangs lower than the trucks and the caltracs are pretty low to the ground

if you raise the front perchs youll have pinoin angle problem , so youll have to put in wegdes bettween the pad and spring so you still have some kind of block in there anyway. i raise em when i slam em, dont have to worry about the horse power and angle as much for a dayly driver

Wanting to slam truck. Already have 3" springs. Truck is duel purpose, but will most likely see more track time than street. Haven't done the rear end yet, so i figured i get set spring perches for desired pinion angle. Just want to get it real low, but don't want cal tracs or daggers (which ever i dedide to go with) dragging the ground. Do you have any pics of the dd's you have done. Thanks for your replies! It's greatly appreciated!

you could use blazer front eye perch, they are different than a truck, you could raise them a couple inches, and they appear to already be over a inch higher factory truck ones. but you would need to swap sides with them or you would loose 3 inches of tire room.
here is a pic of a blazer front eye perch
