i already have 750 qf carb.. i need to step up to a bigger carb something like a 950 ..
funds are not there right now for a new carb..
the question is can i just get a center section for a 950 and will the metering blocks and fuel bowls fit and im sure i will need to get another baseplate...
thanks

your bowls and blocks will work fine.i've been known to put them on 1050 dom's and have them work.

check port sizing. i think 750's are 1 11/16ths and after that it changes to 1 3/4. if you're interested i have a holley 950 hp center. all you would have to do it send it in to quick fuel and have boosters installed.

yes the 750s are 1 11/16ths ... all the baseplates for 850 and up are 1 3/4s ...what the hell does a 8th make...lol..
i will contact quickfuel and talk to them about it.....
what should i go with annular or downleg boosters ?

as a general rule of thumb down leg boosters are more respondsive and annular's will mph a little more.

Ok I feel like a dumbass. I missed where supermanx said he had a 950 center for sale and thought that all I had to do was send my 750 center to quickfuel and they can turn it into a 950 . So I called quickfuel tech.... Dee-Da-Dee...
