will the ngk 8 be ok for a 150 shot,or should I go colder? This will be first time I spray it so I'd rather not hurt anything. AFR 220 heads. Also should I use projected tip or not? AFR reccomends ngk r41 for race.

What is your compression, and what fuel do you plan on using?
If it is around 10-1, and you are going to use some decent fuel a NGK5671A-8 will be fine. Pull 6 degreees of timing, and go have fun!
BTW, never run a projected tip plug with spray. The ground strap is to far into the combustion chamber, it will get hot enough to cause pre-detonation.
