Putting a new gear in my truck tonight...
Changed from 4.88's to 5.43's...
Trying to get my rpms up some, On the dyno it made peak hp at 6700 and didnt drop more than 10 all the way up to 7100 (stopped the pulls there)
With the 4.88 I was shifting at 6200 and crossed at 6300...
Gonna take it out Saturday and see if it helps or hurts...

Best run to date is 1.43 60, 6.580 @ 106.3 on footbrake...

May try leaving on the transbrake this weekend also... :rock:

Got it in and finished up last night...
Its ready to go...
Beings I will trying it at a bracket race I may not get a transbrake pass in...
Maybe I can get on in during open time trials...

put a mello chip in like a 3500 chip in your 2 step and use it from the get go, you do have a 2 step?

Yeah I have a digital 2 step in my ignition box... (no pills)
I haven't had any practice with leaving on the t-brake to try bracket racing it this weekend on it...lol
I was gonna try and take it to t&t Friday night, but it will probably be a waste...
The track doesn't hook well on test nights...
I'll see how it goes...
Gonna try and get some more video this weekend!

Well the gear didn't hurt it...
Got a new best but the nigh was cut short...
Only made 3 passes...

1st (left the breather on)
1.440 60ft
6.68 @ 101.5


2nd (changed shift rpm)
1.432 60ft
6.64 @ 103.4

3rd (same as 2nd run)
1.421 60ft
6.570 @ 105.6

Then the ugly happened!

I believe it was gonna get even better if I had of got to run more...
I really think it will get in the 6.4x's and 60ft in the 1.3x's...
