I went to sqaure jet carb today and had front bowel off to jet and put in plug, and damn there is a lil tube in base plate sitting there all open!!!!
a vacum leak for sure, maybee 60ft might pick up :laughoutloud:

Is this on your pro systems carb?

I had a severe bog off the line with mine but it was pig rich on the secondary squinter.
I took some of the pump shot out and it is good to go was cutting 1.45 60' I still need to change squinter size.

my carb is not rich, in fact it was set up for original cam, motor was dynoed with and new cam mods have not been made yet to carb, were I will take back restrictors out,of secondary block, with front vacume port blocked, it needs idle uped some, it was lopy now , sounds a lot better:cool4:
I just messed up and didnt catch this when I put carb on, just cant believe it ran that good, with a air leak

I talked with engine builder and he said, that it might of blown off of there, and I started out with it on there, cant confirme this ,guess I didnt check when I put carb on, I will be checking now, I know it likes to blow dip stick out some all the time, with 100 psi or more of oil pressure , I will try it out sat and sunday, also got trans brake hooked up should help on the tree, will be leaving on a 3500 chip, so I dont scatter that mopar rear

yesterday was out under carport, pushed trans brake button up on 2 step, that is way cool, something new to get used to

when we took the farm truck to the track i did not plug any of the vacuum ports on the carb at all... i tossed the carb on the day we got it from nick and never thought bout it...

it was not till just before the 3rd pass that we messed with it any at all and pluged the ports...

i wish i had the time to go this weekend before i have to head back out but time is not on my side...

I pulled it out on the street yesterday to load, a lady next to me has a daycare and I loaded it at nap time, when I pulled it up to the trailer a older man down the street who had checked out my blazer the day before, said mr meloy you should of used that button and tried it out!!!! it cracked me up!!!!! I start it up a lot so I try to be respectful of my neibors
