Fineally got it out of the black hole. Should have had it back yesterday but he put the tranny back together, put it in, started it, and it puked a gallon of synthetic trans fluid out of the brand new front pump.Got it back together today and called me. He sounded shakey and I asked him what was wrong. He said nothing, so I went and got it. When I got there a guy that works for him told me he stood on it in front of the shop, lost it and almost hit a tree! lol It works great. Just what I wanted, full manual foreward patern. Very positive shifts.
Weather permitting, might go to the track next week if its ok driving it around this week. Only driven it 6 or 7 miles.

They're open Sat, but its the last day of points, and I dont want to be in the way. Those guys worked hard all year and deserve to have their day. Don't need some occasional racer oilin down the track! lol Besides we already made plans to take the Kid's Camaro to the flashlight drags Sat for his last run of the year. Hope it holds together.Last pass at the track a float stuck and washed the cylinders down. So we'll see if it lasts. I think he hurt it, its smokin. Maybe next week.
Kent sendin some weather your way buddy!

Okey doke. Will do. Now I gotta wait till tonight and hope they broom the street. Theres a half inch of gravel on it. It sticks to drag radials real good.

Kent, did you ever see those donuts with the nuts stuck all over them? Thats what my rear tires would look like if I took it out now! lol And they're dragging it out, too. They only did one lane. Who knows when they'll be back to do the other one. This is torture!

Well, it is hard when others do work to our toys. They don't appreciate the time and effort in the truck. Their attitude is drive it like you stole it.....

Talked to tranny guy. He says he thinks its the pan gasket, cause he had to drop carriage bolts down through the case to get enough adjustment on the linkage bracket to get all the gears. For that he had the pan on and off 5 times, so he probably tore the gasket. Looks like it's coming from up front near the converter, so I think it may be the pump. Whatever it is, he'll get it right. I really like the way it works! it shifts great.
