OK, some racing junk forum members want to have a little get together at Byhalia Raceway. It is located about 30 minutes South of Memphis Tennessee. I plan on attending, and have chatted with a few others on here about possibly making it as well. Date has been firmed up as Saturday, October 16. Below is a link to directions from Memphis, just change the departure point to your addy to get directions.

OK, this is getting closer! ANyone interested in a mini meet-n-greet along side the Racing Junk guys? Plan right now is the owner is opening up @ 3:00 pm for us. Looks like a BBQ and gumbo cooking is in the works. BUffalo steaks from Missouri and whatever else is brought is going on the grills. And, as a bonus, there will even be some racing!:laughoutloud:

The October 16th race at Byhalia raceway in Byhalia Ms will be a benefit race for the St Judes Children research Hospital in Memphis.

They'll have drawings, raffles, cake walks etc, spread the word.

Did you tell any of those S-10 and LUV guys about the site? (Oh.. the Blazer too.. ;))

Why, yes I did, I wore my Luvtruck.com shirt, my s10racer hat, and passed out cards for Travis' site. (Really need to get some cards for both the LUV site and this one, as I wrote the info on some index cards, not sure if they kept them)...

The red and black dime was pretty quick, fastest of the the trucks was the purple stepside LUV, motor only 5:90's/6:0's @ a 1/8 track. (this one is 600 ft, saw a 5:59, and the racers say it is 4 tenths difference at the other tracks they run on)...
