The tuner has returned from the great sandbox last weekend. we have an appointment today for the tuning to begin. This is all being done at 10am today. finally I might get better gas mileage since the overly rich original tune will be fixed.

We will be getting the N/A tune set and then a WOT tune for the N2O(125 shot) Then off to the track tomorrow weather permitting. we want to get some good 1/8th mile n/a times and some times with the spray. hopefully the little 7.5 will hold up

any guess's onthe results of the tune N/A and also with the 125 shot? How about 1/8th mile times N/A and Spray?

That stang has decided not to race anymore. Once he even had trouble with Lxtasy's wife's silverado with the 5.3. after that he decided he needed to not race for awhile.

Today's numbers were pretty good for a basically stock 97 LT1.

N/A: 265 RWHP/294 RWTQ
125 Shot: 354 RWHP/ 449 RWTQ

Tomorrow hopefully we will get some new 1/8th mile track numbers. We are looking the 8's N/A and possibly 7's on the giggle gas. We shall see. I wil post up when we get back tomorrow night.

Even with the heat and humidity being through the roof, we shaved .2 off the times in n/a and giggle gas runs from a much better race condition day at Bowman. The Blazer ran 9.157 (N/A) and 8.229 (n2o) with Jr driving. I then put my youngest in the driverseat and his first time out ran a 9.0XX(N/A). These runs were also after I drove it to the track so she was hot. My youngest has only had his license for about month. He's only 17 and he had a blast. He looked nervous during that run but he soon relaxed. His next run was a 9.1XX. I do not know the exact times because he is not letting go of the timeslips. I guess its bragging rights.

I best part of the night was not having fouled spark plugs and idle issues after all the racing that was done. She was idling very smoothly as if she never raced. This in itself made for a great day.

WEIGHT makes a difference. I weight 274lbs and my brother weighs 115. He was nervous first pass. But I helped guide him for the burnout, lights and gave him some pointers. He did good. Can't wait for him to get some more seat time and let him fire it off one good time. :indian_chief: I have 2 videos oh him driving from when I was right behind him when he was in the lights. Will post them later. I do still believe some nice skinny's and fats will help shave some more weight as well. ****MY goal**** is to see that heavy blazer run 7's with an all STOCK lt1 with just some gas.

Everett we are trying. Our handicap is 4100 lbs race weight. :nono: I think I am going to step down on the fuel side just a hair. Plus after I fix somethings on the trailer and run it "cold" it should do alot better. Even with the truck sitting in the shade yesterday it only dropped temp down to 170 area.

I only sprayed it twice yesterday. And if you have ever been to Dorchester you will realize that it will become a cluster fuck if you pull over on the return road. They will shut the track completely down. Yesterday was mainly ALL MOTOR passes. I was thinking of doing the highway track testing and read the plugs. A/f on the dyno on gas was 12.59 I believe.
