Yes,
Choosing the path of freedom is no easy task.

As President Ronald Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We did not pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

I will spend the majority of the day thinking about the lives that were lost so I could enjoy the
freedom I have today.

Every branch of my family including myself, has served in the military in one form or another..

Recently, my wife asked me a serious question about my son..
who has shown interest in the military..

She asked me when we were talking about memorial day with my son...
Would you really let him go?
My reply,
“For democracy, any man would give his only begotten son.”

My son smiled.. and so did my wife..
We are proud people and understand the need to serve and protect our country...



To the fallen soldiers and the survivors.. I will never forget!
