I got a crack in my rotor last weekend and the ignition started to crossfire and then got worse when I popped the waste gate hoses and hit 60+lbs of boost!

well after further tear down of the block the only damage was the piston, and the pieces of alum from the piston melting to the cyl wall. I got the alum off the cyl wall using muratic acid. and the block is at the machine shop getting new cross hatches.
so I have a new set of pistons, rings, bearings and gaskets on order, so I should have all the parts by the end of week. And back up and running by fri the 13th.

Why tear it all down? Should have just gotten the junk off the cylinder wall and run it again at 60lbs of boost and seen what it could have done.
I kid of course. That sucks. But at least the block is salvageable and other parts
