I found that my Cat was plugged on my cheesy 3.4 60* V6 when I was installing a set of headers. The engine pulled so much harder on the street with open headers, I figured I'd go to Capitol Raceway outside of Baton Rouge to see what kind of time it would do.
Well, there were 26 first gen dimes set up in all different ways. The fastest was a 9.642 quarter mile. Most were really nice clean rigs. The one truck running 9s had a STOCK rear with slicks. I couldn't beleive it. :yikes:
Anyway, my POS out of 3 runs ran a 16.74 - 82 MPH :laugh4: Street tires that wouldn't hook up. Even after heating the poo out of them. I think I might get a supersonic 15 second 1320 if it didn't spin:sick2:
All of that go fast stuff does nothing unless you have cubic inches to back it. :stirpot:
