alright guys i know you are having you florida meet the weekend after but i am throwing this out the for those that want to come. i am piggy backing a v810 meet with another forum that i am on. this should be a great event. the forum is renting beech bend dragstrip for the day and having a car show and racing meet and greet.
they had this the year before last and i have heard it was a great time. i talked to the owner of the forum and asked if we could setup a v8s10 meet and he said the more the merrier.
so here we go. this is pretty central i think. here is a little info for the event and there will be more to follow as they are getting the tickets made and trying to get everything in order.

so who is coming. i told the v8s10.org uys that i would see if i can get at least one florida guy to come to the meet and i know there are a bunch on here.
so whos coming with me (yes the cheesy quote from jerry mcguire lol)
Tennesspeed day 2010 is a go!!
Okay Folks,
After a one-year hiatus, it looks like Tennesspeed Day 2010 is going to happen! We received a list of open dates from Dallas Jones at Beech Bend Raceway yesterday afternoon and we have responded to him to hold the date we selected.
WHAT: TENNESSPEED DAY 2010 (¼ Mile Drag Racing and Open Car Show)
WHERE: BEECH BEND RACEWAY, BOWLING GREEN,KY
WHEN: September 18th, 2010 8AM-3PM
There were only a few Saturdays still available, with most of them in the heart of the summer, so we opted for the date that offered the best likelihood of favorable temps and enough time for the event staff to promote, plan and provide everyone with what we hope will be a great day of fun. There are still a LOT of details to be worked out, but here is the preliminary plan that has been discussed by the Tennesspeed staff members and advisors.
For the first time ever, we will be pre-selling tickets to the event. Although the exact details have not been worked out yet, most likely we are looking at offering 100 participant and 100 spectator tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis at a discount to what you can expect to pay at the gate on the day of the event. This discount will apply until all the tickets have been spoken for. After that, you stuck with paying at the gate on the day of the event. Here is what has been discussed:
Pre-event participant ticket: $30 each
Pre-event spectator ticket: $5 each
If you are not one of the first 100 to buy or you elect to wait and pay at the gate on the day of the event, you can expect to pay a little more:
Event day participant purchase: $40
Event day spectator purchase: $10
