Hi, new to this forum.I have an 84 short bed which is a plated, inspected, registered street truck that I occasionally race.Havent had it out this year because of time and weather, but last year it ran 11.80 @ 115, 1.64 60 ft, na. Haven't sprayed it at the track yet, but it has a 200 progressive shot. Made a couple small changes over winter, and dont really know what to expect. Longterm project is a 2000 2wd 2dr blazer I bought wrecked. The plan is to put the go fast stuff in the Blazer, since I cant bring myself to cage my street truck. Oh, btw my name is Phil, Glad to be here.

Thanks for the hospitality guys. 85SS is an old friend! Hey Jeremy!I put an album up on my profile. but heres my truck, now and then.I cant put pics of the Blazer or any good launches at the track. Sorry Spib, but honestly the Blazer aint much to look at yet! It's rolled on the passenger side.I bought a new camera (12.1 mega pixel) and every time I try to upload a pic from that camera, it says "file size too big, or something like that.Gonna see if I can change a setting on it, or go back to crappy camera.Im gonna try getting some pics off photo bucket.

There, that worked, I think. Blazer's a pos now, but eventually(hopefully) it'll get there.Gut it, fix it, cage it and go from there. Blazer's rust free from Fla, hard to find a 2wd in western Pa.Pretty useless in snow.http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/x10v8/b2d11c0b8e454a8c968bf92d9baa57ff1.jpghttp://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/x10v8/Bought%20a%20wrecked%20Blazer/DSC00051.jpghttp://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/x10v8/Bought%20a%20wrecked%20Blazer/DSC00052.jpghttp://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/x10v8/Bought%20a%20wrecked%20Blazer/DSC00057.jpg

Hey, Thats a good looking truck!

The issue is, I have limited the size of a picture you can post as an attachment..
That way the pages load fast for everyone.

If you upload the picture in your album in your profile. You can link the pictures to your post.

Once you have some pictures in your album.. View one of the pictures. When you scroll
to the bottom of the page you will see to links.. Those are the ones you can post.
One link.. the first one, If you post that link it will send the viewer to the picture.
The second link is in BB Code.. If you post that link in a post.. It will show up with in the post.

If you go here
http://www.s10racer.com/board/album.php?albumid=260&pictureid=3384
Look at the bottom.. you will see the 2 links..

One is called the Picture URL
http://www.s10racer.com/board/picture.php?albumid=260&pictureid=3384

And the other is called the BB Code
'http://www.s10racer.com/board/picture.php?albumid=260&pictureid=3384'

If you remove the ' I put at the beginning of 'http and at the end 3384'
You will get this effect. (I had to add that so you could see the code)
http://www.s10racer.com/board/picture.php?albumid=260&pictureid=3384

Thanks again, guys.
I think I got it, Diabolical, thanks for the info.Very understandable to make things load faster.BTW, cool pic of the horse and buggy! (Especially the axle!)Guess its not hard to tell, Im not computer savvy.
lxtacy,After its gutted, caged and lowered about a foot, the first thing I want to do is get rid of the step bumper.Ive seen kits with the 1/4 extensions and roll pan that look good. If Im going to put xtreme cladding on it, I guess I better decide that first, since the 1/4 extensions are different on the xtreme roll pan kit.
Just on this one thread Ive already seen Blazers that are gettin me pumped! Probably the shot in the arm I need to get off my ars and get something done on either one. At least throw some parts at the red truck and get it to the track. I also am a fan of the 2nd gen 2 dr Blazers. Not many streetable around here V8-ed because of the obdII. Theres one thats an ls motor w/ spray.Drives it to the track, runs 10.20's all day, drives it home. I'm going to have to get a reconstructed title and collectable plate to street drive it because of emissions.Just hate to take a clean title and make an "R" out of it.
