Has anyone mounted there gauges in the original radio bezel/air conditioning vent spot on '86-'93 trucks?

As you can see in the pic below I no longer have a radio or A/C vents there. I used to have my switch panel there, but now I have a new one that will be mounted to the roll bar. My tach will be mounted to the steering column.

Just looking for some ideas if anyone else has done theirs this way to.

I know the S10 doesn't have an acutal "single" DIN sized slot, but I have kept my eye on these and will probably try one in the future instead of a gaping radio hole. I'm thinking you could use a stereo install kit to neck this down to single DIN, (just like the adapter you have to use if you install an aftermarket stereo...) or you could just custom make something :D
