I am finially going to get my motor dynoed!!!
I wanted to get it done before we put it in but I ran out of time (trying to make the s10 meet) and they were pretty booked up also...
But I found out yesterday that he can get to it this week...
Gonna pull the motor tonight...
Taking it Thursday evening...
I know it seems like alot of work just to dyno it, but it will save me many nights at T&T trying to get it tuned right...

My guess is 580 too 630 HP. What victor heads do you have on the motor and how much work is done to the heads.

surely you have made it home by now give us some numbers bro...lol

Well it servived 11 pulls...
Max Hp was 578.4 @ 6500
Max Tq was 540.5 @ 5100

First pull was 568.8 @ 6400 and 535.1 @ 4900
So it wasnt far off...
Little lean and the timing was a little high...

It wants a 2" HVH super sucker spacer...
Didn't add alot of hp, but made a more smooth increase on the graph and quicker acceleration... 3-4 hp gain throughout most of the pull range... 4500-7000

Biggest gain was fuel...
I have been running Torqo 116...
They wanted to try some VP 113...
Picked up a AVERAGE of 8 hp and 9 ft tq from the base run...
It actually picked up 16.5 hp & 18.5 ft tq at the lower end of the pull...
Guess that is a good thing because the place I buy my fuel drums has switched from the Torqo to the VP...
AND the VP 113 is $3.23 a gallon cheaper...

Over all the Averages were this...
Average Hp- 542.0
Average Tq- 499.2
Average Acceleration- 496

I am very pleased with it...
He said the heads were holding it back...
Said some good port work on the heads and the intake and he would guarentee 60-80 hp gain at the minimum...
