Howdy , new guy from Houston

Came over from the dark side ( Luvtruck) . Built a 1978 Chevy Luv with a V-8 . Tried to find another one down here , but their all either rusted out or beat to hell so today i bought a 87' S-10 swb . Will be putting in a 385 " forged smallblock with th350 & 8.8 or 9" rear axle .

I am sure the 87 will be bad ass too!

Well hell Lets just walk you around the garage LOL . I had back surgury a year ago and was running a local drag radial class down here @ HMP . The doctors told me i needed to get out of the truck so i sold it . It was faster then i needed to be going and had a good reputation around here for "makin the trip" . Probably should have just let it sit , buy i got a really good price and i let it go .

Anyway i sold it ( the Luv ). In 1978 i bought this truck from my uncle . I have been working on it for about 6 years and im in the final stages of the restoration . Come to find out it was my grandfather from sometime in the 50's to the mid 60's when my uncle bought it . Til the late 70's when i bought it .

Then there is the Vette/ spare car . I have always loved convertibles . Be it Jeeps , Harleys , sports cars , whatever . Vette is bone stock 2004 with Corsa exhaust . My wife and i enjoy it on nice days and it is used as a spare vehicle .

And my Daily/tow rig , ole faithful . Probably the best truck ive ever owned & im a Chevy guy .

That's the quick tour , i've left a build or 2 out along the way . This will be something to drive to friday street car night and have fun with and run a 7.64 index class with .

Naw , it wasn't ment like that . I was just showin ya around . The powerstroke is a 2000 model , the Vette a 2004 and what would have been a payment fora new truck , and the 1949 I have been working on slowly for years .
