Yes.. You know working with the kids reminds me how I wanted my dad to work
with me when I was young.. He didn't share any interest in the hobby..
That's why I want to pass it down to my kids.. They really do like working on them.
So.. Their stuff comes first :)

Did you use the plasma cutter to cut open the ports on the header adaptors?

I need to do mine, but the die grinder seams like it would take forever to do 8 openings...

To tell you the truth.. I bought them used (500.00) and someone had already started cutting
on them.. If I were you I wouldn't use a plasma gun.. Not very forgiving!!
I would use a carbide bit and make short work out of it ;)

I know I'm a little late on this but my engine builder machined my adapter plates on his mill. Took 2 hours and charged me $80. I would have spent that on carbide bits and beer!!!
A trick he used was to bolt them together and mill them both at the same time, that way they are identicle side to side! I did screw up and have them coated before I clearance the bottom corners for head bolt clearance....doh
