Mad Max

I know a few of you have seen some of the stuff I've posted about my '91 dime. I am doing stuff that shouldn't be done - like a 3.4 60* V6 out of a '95 Camaro (207 CID ), 5 speed, 4.10 Eaton posi disc rear, 3 inch single exhaust.
This last weekend, I put a 500 lift, 292 duration with 112 centerline in this little weezer, and advanced the cam 4* with a Cloyes timing chain. I got rid of the T body fuel infection and went with an Edelbrock intake and Holley 390 CFM, and a Mallory dual point. Idles like crap - or real nice depending on how you look at it. Sounds funny for a little six banger. I have a 455 CFM Holley that I will take to test and tune to see how it works.
It feels like high 13s now, I am going to try and put in the headers and spray in the next few nights. Tomorrow, (Wednesday) is test and tune at No Problem Raceway in Southern Louisiana where I will be trying to dial it in a little better. The 390 still feels weak on providing enough juice for the engine, Ill try the 455 CFM. If it actually gets a high 13, with spray I may be in the 12s :yikes:.
I know this sounds goofy to you guys running 9s and 8s, but I don't know of anyone else who has done this.
BTW, I was at the track and hole shotted an '06 GTO, went 7/8ths of the track before he passed me at the traps. He pooped himself when he saw that cheesy little 6 in my truck. :cool4: I was running low 16s, he was running high 15s.
I have a Buick Grand National 3.8 without fuel injection on a stand ready to replace the 3.4 - cammed, ported, Aluminum intake, Holley, pistons etc. Damn parts are expensive... Pics to come soon.
OK, enough boring details. See you guys at the track. A prize for the slowest truck? I'm all over it.
