Me and a Buddy pulled a all nighter last night working on mine...
Havent been to bed since 9:00 Sunday morning...

I got F@$%ed.

I took my dime to the track Wednesday to the test and tune to see how it improved with cam, 4 bbl, ignition etc.
I ran a 14.11 (first run) with timing a little retarded, the next run I advanced the timing a few degrees and as I crossed the line, it started rapping. :2up: No I wasn't pissed. I broke the into the 13s by .01. 13.99 with a bad rod at the finish line.
Spray would have it in the 12s. CRAP.
So.....

I have a Buick turbo 3.8 engine on a stand (no turbo) that needs final assembly. I ordered a manual flywheel for it, tracking says it will be in today. I am going to try and assemble the 3.8 and heave it into my truck. :stirpot: Ha. I will try to be there for Saturday action. I have no idea what this engine will do. It has 3,000 miles on it, and I replaced almost everything that turns - rod and main bearings, harmonic balancer, flywheel, etc. If it all goes well, I'll be tired, but I'll be there.:rock:
