Well, it is raining as I type this. Hopefully it will blow through quickly and it will still be on...

Well, it blew through, no rain at the track 30 minutes away. So I got in 3 passes. First pass, no burnout as I couldn't get the line-loc to hold. Second pass was a turd as the carb gassed the plugs. (Sitting mostly for 2 years, not the carbs fault...) Third one was the charm. Launched hard and straight on motor. Couldn't get stopped before the return road, which has NEVER happened on motor before. Get to the time shack, the computer malfunctioned, so no timeslip... :2up: That was my last pass as there was something bumping underneath as I drove back down the return road. It was late, so I called it a night. All in all, better than I expected, nothing broke. :thinking: That I know of, unless the mystery noise turns out to be something. I do know my archrival was parked next to me, and after that third pass, he looked in my truck and didn't see a bottle in it when I returned. The noise I heard about a little grudge earlier run got VERY quiet...:laughoutloud:
