New guy from the big town of Dayton, TN

Hey guys, my name is Tommy Lee Byrd. I'm from Dayton, TN and I own a very slow S-10. It's slow by nature, as it's a 2.2, 5-speed truck, but I've learned a lot about vehicle control on wet roads with it. Anyway, this is just my daily driver, and I don't have any REAL intentions of making it fast. I have plenty of other projects to keep me occupied, so this one only gets attention when it needs it.

About me: I'm 23 years old and I'm a photographer and writer for various automotive magazines. I work on a freelance basis, which allows me to work with lots of different magazines and I also work at Coker Tire Company, where I handle most of the photography for catalogs, advertisements, etc.

About the truck: It's a '95 model, and the only things I've done to it (in the six years I've owned it) is lowered it three inches in front and back, and swap the wheels a few times. Here is my most recent photo of it....

Yep, TN is S-10 country. My current S-10 is the 5th one I've owned. I drive it 110 miles a day on average and it rarely gives me any problems. Thanks for the welcome(s).

Unfortunately, I've already planned to attend a couple of local events on the 27th. Otherwise, it would definitely be a fun event to shoot, especially if Travis is there with his orange S-10. The photos he posted on here from DFT were the ones I shot--that truck is scary fast and fun to watch.
